Dr. Dave Park is the president and founder of His Passion Ministries.  Dr. Dave Park has ministered to pastors, youth leaders, parents and students for over 20 years and co-authored 12 best-selling books with Dr. Neil T. Anderson, such as "Stomping Out the Darkness," "The Bondage Breaker, Youth Edition" and "Purity Under Pressure" as well as "Overcoming a Negative Self Image".  Dave and Neil's books have been nominated for the Gold Medallion award three times. Their curriculum "Busting Free" has been used in over 20,000 churches. Dave has ministered all over the world. Dave received his education at Southwestern College and has an M.A. from Moody Bible Institute in Chicago. He also has an honorary Doctorate of Divinity from the Hindustan Bible Institute in India. He is married to Grace, has three children, four Siamese cats and a Scottie dog and lives in Knoxville, TN.  His idea of fun is watching the Denver Broncos with a huge glass of Dr. Pepper.

Carlos Oscar | Outreach Events
 
Known for his charming, witty and energetic stage persona, Carlos fully acts out his jokes by telling stories everyone can identify with, and metamorphosing into various characters and voices. He jokes most often about the humorous side of family, pop-culture and everyday mishaps. His comedy is always crossover so it has given him a platform to entertain all audiences. Carlos states, "When people hear I'm clean, they may think 'how is he a comic?' The reality is I am much more creative and funnier with material I don't and won't fall back on with four-letter words or lewd innuendos to entertain an audience." It is Carlos' brand of comedy that has paved the way to appearances on TV such as "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," HBO and his recent Comedy Central performance.

Personal Testimony

"I attended religious schools and was taught about God, everything from His commandments, His son, Jesus, the miracles Jesus performed and how Jesus was resurrected; but the motivation of why God did all these things was never really addressed. I never got mixed up with the wrong crowds because I knew God's word, but I did not appreciate what God had done for me until I joined the Air Force. For the first time in my life, I was on my own. I began reading the New Testament and through it, came to God with a more complete understanding of who He is in Christ. I realized the depth of God and His desire to have a relationship with us. I had more understanding about how much He cares for us: to sacrifice His only begotten Son to have a relationship with us; guiding us in all our paths no matter how the world may be treating us. God sees the real you, His child.

"I was always funny as a kid. God had something planned for my humor: to entertain crowds with the gift He gave me. Making people laugh is awesome. I hope those people who I have had the pleasure to entertain have shared joyous laughter. But more importantly, I hope we may all come to Father God in Christ to share a truly joyous life."
